Antioch

Antioch is a parish based ministry of youth to youth, catering for youth aged from sixteen to twenty years. It begins with a weekend experience and follows with regular meetings and activities.It aims to provide a supportive environment within a loving and accepting community,where youth are always welcome and have the opportunity to be heard ,and issues relevant to their lives and relationships are shared.The emphasis is on youth leadership and involvement.

Adult support,usually one or married couples together with a priest and/or a religious where possible,is essential to the establishment and growth of a group within a parish.They provide maturity ,guidance and follow through,but their presence is generally background and low key.
